왜 안 할까요?
단기간에 고수익을 내준다는 그런 특별한 비법에 대해서 너무 큰 기대를 하지 않으시는 게 좋습니다.
안녕하세요, 아레나입니다.
제가 유튜브에 업로드하는 첫 번째 영상입니다.
블로그마다 편차는 있겠지만, 하루 1만명 정도 방문하는 티스토리 블로그는 대충 어느 정도 애드센스 수익이 나는지 보여드리고, 과장된 내용 없이 현실적으로 얘기를 해보려고 합니다.
지금 이 그래프는 최근 1년 월간 방문자 수 그래프입니다.
작년 2022년 3월을 보면 월간 당자 수가 3,900명이며, 하루에 130명 정도 방문했습니다.
완전 새 블로그는 아니고 글 몇 개 쓰고 방치해놨다가 이때부터 득점 주제를 잡고 키우기 시작했습니다.
빨간색 막대가 검색 유입이고, 거의 없다시피 한 초록색이 SNS 유입입니다.
그리고 이 기타 유입이 회색으로 잡힙니다.
기타 유입이 외부 유입인 경우도 있지만, 제 경우에는 네이버 다음 유입이 대부분이라서 실질적으로는 90% 이상 검색 유입으로 성장시키고 있습니다.
한 달 정도 지나서 7월에 결과를 보면 방문자 수가 약 3만 9천명으로 10배 정도 늘었습니다.
아직까지는 좀 초기 단계이기 때문에 구글, 네이버에서 상단을 차지하고 있는 포스팅 수가 많지 않습니다.
그래서 다음 검색 유입이 더 많은 편인 걸 볼 수 있습니다.
두 달 지나서 9월의 결과를 보면 96,000명으로 하루에 약 3,200명 정도로 성장했습니다.
네이버도 SEO를 많이 강화하면서 구글 SEO 기반으로 글을 작성해 주시면 네이버에도 요즘은 티스토리가 상위 노출이 잘 되는 편입니다.
11월에는 약 15만명 정도, 하루에 약 5000명이 방문하는 시기를 보면, 이제 점점 다음 검색보다 구글, 네이버 유입이 많아지는 걸 볼 수 있습니다.
확실히 좋은 글이 많이 쌓여도, 다음 로직으로는 좀 한계가 있습니다.
하지만, 성장 과정을 보셨듯이 초반에는 다음 유입에서 얻는 트래픽과 체류 시간이 구글, 네이버 노출을 더 빨리 할 수 있도록 도와주는 역할을 하기 때문에, 아무래도 워드프레스로 시작하는 것보다 티스토리가 유리한 점은 있습니다.
그리고 올해 1월 기준 월 방문자 수는 약 26만명이며, 하루에는 약 8,400명 정도로 성장했습니다.
검색 유입 경로를 보면 확실히 편차가 점점 커지는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
다음은 최신 글을 더 우대해주는 경향이 있어서 아무리 체류 시간이 높고 잘 쓴 글도 뒤로 쉽게 밀립니다.
처음에 상위 노출이 되는 것은 쉽지만, 장기적으로 순위를 유지하는 것은 힘듭니다.
따라서, 내가 쓴 글이 시간이 지나도 계속해서 더 많은 인원이 방문하고 더 많은 수익을 내주는 구조를 만들려면 구글과 네이버 상위 노출에 더 집중해야 합니다.
네이버와 구글 순위는 하루아침에 바꾸기는 어렵지만, 특정 분야의 특화된 블로그는 글을 쓸 때마다 구글 첫 페이지에 쉽게 올라갈 수 있습니다.
아직 그 단계에 이르지 못한 티스토리의 경우는 최상단은 당연히 어렵고 첫 페이지 노출도 그렇게 쉽지 않습니다.
대신, 한 번 올라가면 잘 내려오지 않기 때문에 구글 연금 수익도 생길 수 있습니다.
기타 유입이 꽤 많이 잡히고 있어서 궁금해 하실 분들이 있을 것 같은데요.
이 자세히 보면 네이버 웹이 압도적으로 많아진 것을 볼 수 있습니다.
여기 앞에 붙어 있는 'm'은 모바일 핸드폰에서 접속한 기록이고, 제 티스토리를 직접 검색해서 들어오거나 특정 사이트를 통해서 매달 지속적으로 유입되는 경로도 조금씩 증가하고 있습니다.
어디 제가 홍보하고 다니는 것은 아니고, 특정 주제로 글이 계속 쌓이다 보니까 관련 분야 사이트에서 종종 제 글을 인용해가는 경우가 많아지고 있습니다.
사실 이게 자연스러운 외부입의 과정인데, 아무래도 악용하는 사례가 많다 보니까 외부 유입이라는 것 자체가 조금 이상하게 알려지고 있는 것 같습니다.
2월부터는 새로운 시도를 좀 해보고 있는데, 지금 결과가 좋지 않아서 검색 유입이 좀 줄어든 상태입니다.
이 부분은 나중에 데이터가 정리되면 별도로 다룰 예정입니다.
이 정도 인원이 방문했을 때 수익이 얼마나 되는지도 많이 궁금해 하실 것 같은데, 여기는 애드센스 수익 메뉴입니다.
티스토리와 연동은 되어 있지만, 애드센스 보고서에서 작성된 수익과는 조금 차이가 있습니다.
연동은 되어 있지만, 모든 데이터를 티스토리에서 받아오지는 못하는 것 같습니다.
실제 수익은 애드센스에서 확인할 수 있기 때문에 정확하게 확인해보면 3월에 하루 100명 정도 방문했을 때 하루 1달러 정도를 벌었습니다.
티스토리를 처음 시작하는 분들은 하루 방문자 100명도 어려울 수 있기 때문에, 100명 정도 방문했을 때 5달러 정도 벌 수 있지 않을까 기대할 수 있습니다.
하지만 현실은 대부분 1달러 정도가 일반적입니다.
물론 블로그 주제 키워드에 따라서 수익이 달라지겠지만, 특히 초기 블로그에서는 광고 수익이 크지 않습니다.
돈을 벌기 쉽지 않습니다.
또한, 5월까지는 월 100달러를 못 넘기다가 6월에 처음 100달러를 넘게 됩니다.
보통 월 100만원보다는 월 100달러를 보러보자 하고 1차 목표를 잡는 경우가 많습니다.
하지만 어디서 티스토리 관련 강의나 광고를 보면 100달러는 참 쉬워 보이지만, 티스토리를 처음 시작하는 유저가 하기에는 그렇게 만만한 수익이 아니라는 것입니다.
이후로 수익이 증가하는 속도가 빨라지는데, 글이 많아지면서 방문자 수가 증가하고 오래 머무는 유저가 늘어나면 자연스럽게 광고 수입도 급증하는 시기가 오게 됩니다.
방문자 수가 적은 상황에서 기술적인 부분으로 고수익을 내려고 하면 결국 한계가 있고 부작용이 있습니다.
따라서, 티스토리를 오래 한 사람들이 다 방문자 수가 적어도 되는 방법으로 운영을 하겠지만, 보통 그렇게 하지 않습니다.
그 이유는 단기간에 고수익을 내주는 특별한 비법이 존재하기 때문이 아닌가 싶습니다.
그러나 너무 궁금할 경우, 제가 이후에 자세히 다루어 보도록 하겠습니다.
환율 1300원 기준으로 월 800달러 정도의 수익은 원화로 월 100만원 정도 수익이 됩니다.
11월쯤 되어서부터 이 블로그 하나로 100만원 정도의 수익이 생겨나기 시작했고, 올해 1월에는 대략 180만원 이상의 수익이 축적되었습니다.
그만큼 방문자 수가 계속 증가하고 상위 노출되는 글도 많아져서, 이젠 글을 아무리 안 써도 일정한 수익이 매일 들어오는 구조가 되었습니다.
6월 기준으로 대략 10배 이상의 수익이 나오고 있지만, 안타깝게도 수익이 급증하는 이른바 성장 단계까지 이를 못 견디고 포기하는 경우가 대부분입니다.
일단 이렇게 수익을 내본 적이 있는 사람이라면, 저처럼 처음부터 다시 블로그를 시작하더라도 결국은 이런 시기가 온다는 걸 알고 있으므로, 별 생각 없이 꾸준히 할 수 있습니다.그러나 이렇게 수익을 내보지 못한 경우에는 "아 이게 진짜 맞나?"라는 방식으로 돈이 될까 말까 하는 의심이 들기 마련입니다.
옆에서는 누군가 이슈를 써가면서 하루에 10만원을 벌었다더라는데, 이렇게 들으면 흔들리게 됩니다.
어쩔 수 없이 사람의 마음은 그렇게 되어버리는 법이죠.
정작 티스토리 블로그를 왜 하는지에 대해서는 브랜딩이나 기타 다양한 이유들이 있을 수 있겠지만, 블로그를 처음 시작하는데 너무 만만치 않은 목표를 가지고 시작하면 진짜로 힘들 수 있고, 심지어 꺼려할 수도 있습니다.
일단 수익이나 기타 이유들이 있어서라도, 처음에는 블로그를 꾸준히 하더라도 방문자 수도 얼마 없고 수익도 나오지 않기 마련입니다.
그러나 이런 초반에 수익이 적은 시기를 버텨내면, 검색 유입 기반으로 방문자 수가 증가하고 상위 노출되는 글도 많아져서 블로그를 하는 것이 재밌어지기도 하고, 안정적인 수익을 창출할 수 있습니다.이에 반해, 초반의 수익이 적은 시기를 버티지 못하고 블로그를 그만둘 경우나, 짧은 기간에 대량의 수익을 창출할 수 있는 비정상적인 방법을 시도하는 경우가 많습니다.
이와 같은 방식은 결국 끝이 안 좋게 끝나고, 검색 유입 기반으로 방문자 수가 증가하고 상위 노출되는 글도 많아져야, 블로그를 하는 것도 재밌고 안정적인 수익을 창출할 수 있는 것입니다.
하루에 얼마 벌었다는 인증 스크린샷 같은 것도 단순한 수익일 뿐이고, 얼마든지 만들어낼 수 있습니다.
하루에 33달러를 벌면 한 달에 대략 100만원이 되는 것인데, 100달러를 벌면 하루 77달러가 되고, 999달러는 10초만에 조작 가능합니다.
이런 단순한 수익인 광고 기법에 속지 마시길 바랍니다.
월 100만원을 벌어주는 부업이 개인의 큰 노력 없이 하루아침에 가능하다면, 티스토리는 지금보다 훨씬 유명하지 않을까요?
블로그를 통해 실질적인 현금 수익을 낸다는 것은 처음 하는 분들에게는 생각보다 만만하지 않습니다.
물론 이슈 블로그나 대출과 같은 고단가 키워드를 이용해서 단기간에 큰 수익을 낼 수도 있지만, 사기는 아니라고 합니다.
가능한 방법이긴 한데, 오늘 나온 수익이 내일도 나올 보장은 없으며, 블로그 저품질에 안 걸리기를 빌면서 계속 노동력을 투입해야 돈이 나오는 구조입니다.
그러다가 블로그가 저품질이 되면, 남는 것은 약간의 수익과 허탈함입니다.
뭐, 그럴 때 다른 블로그로 다시 똑같이 하면 된다는데, 초보 때 고수익을 내는 방법이 혹하기는 좋지만 결국은 지쳐서 오래 못한다고 합니다.티스토리를 잘 운영하면, 월 100, 300, 500만원 수익을 낼 수 있을 것 같습니다.
맞는데, 문제는 처음 해보는 초보도, 하루에 한두 시간 투자해서 한 두 달 만에 누구나 100만원이 가능하다고 너무 쉽게 생각한다는 것입니다.
좀 현실적으로 질문을 바꿔 볼까요?
하루 방문자 5천명 되면 월 100만원씩 낼 수 있습니다.
하루 1만 명을 내 티스토리에 유입시킬 수 있으면 월 200만원 수익을 낼 수 있어요.
물론 편찬은 있겠지만요.
한 두 달 만에 어쩌다 한 번 아니라, 매일 5천 명을 유입시키려면 꾸준한 방문이 필요합니다.
어쩌다 한 번이 아니라, 매일 이렇게 한 달 동안 많이 방문해야 합니다.
쉽지 않겠죠?
좀 더 현실적으로 느껴지시나요?
하루에 1000명만 방문해도 월 100만원 고수익이 가능하다는 분들이 있는데, 그게 어떻게 가능한 건지 그 사람들이 말하지 않는 실체는 어떤 것인지, 제가 별도로 자세히 다룰 예정입니다.
오늘 한 이야기들이 그렇게 달콤하지 않다는 것을 이해해주실 것입니다.
블로그로 수익 내기는 어렵습니다.
하고 실망하시는 분들도 많을 것 같은데, 너무 허황된 기대가 크면 그만큼 실망도 하거든요.

Why not?
Because I don't want you to get your hopes up about some special trick that's going to give you high returns in a short period of time.
Hi, this is Arena.
This is the first video I upload to YouTube.
I'm going to show you how much AdSense revenue I make on a Tumblr blog with about 10,000 visitors a day, and I'm going to try to be realistic and not overstate things.
Now, this is a graph of monthly visitors over the last year.
If you look at March of last year, 2022, I had 3,900 unique visitors per month, which is about 130 visitors per day.
It's not a brand new blog, I just wrote a couple posts and let it sit, and that's when I started scoring topics and growing it.
The red bars are search traffic, and the green, which is almost nonexistent, is social media traffic.
And then there's this other stuff in gray.
In some cases, the other acquisitions are external acquisitions, but in my case, they're mostly from Naver, so I'm actually growing more than 90% of my acquisitions from search.
A month or so later, in July, if you look at the results, we had about 39,000 visitors, which is about a tenfold increase.
It's still a little bit early, so we don't have a lot of posts that are at the top of Google and Naver.
So you can see that the next search influx is higher.
Two months later, if you look at the results for September, it's 96,000, which is about 3,200 people a day.
Naver is also strengthening its SEO a lot, and if you write a post based on Google SEO, Tstory is showing up well on Naver these days.
In November, we had about 150,000 visitors and about 5,000 visitors a day, and now you can see that more and more people are coming from Google and Naver than from the next search.
Obviously, even with a lot of good posts, the next logic is a bit limited.
However, as you can see in the growth process, in the beginning, the traffic and dwell time from the next search plays a role in helping you get exposed to Google and Naver faster, so Tistory has an advantage over starting with WordPress.
And as of January this year, we have about 260,000 visitors per month, and we've grown to about 8,400 visitors per day.
If you look at the search funnel, you can definitely see a growing bias.
The following tends to favor the newest posts, so even the most high dwell time and well written posts are easily pushed to the back.
It's easy to get top placement initially, but it's hard to maintain it in the long run.
Therefore, you need to focus more on Google and Naver top placements if you want to create a structure where your articles continue to attract more people and earn more money over time.
While it's hard to change your Naver and Google rankings overnight, a blog that specializes in a particular field can easily get on the first page of Google every time you write.
For stories that aren't quite there yet, the top is obviously harder, and getting to the first page isn't as easy.
However, once you're up there, it's hard to come down, so you can earn a Google annuity.
There are quite a few other inflows, so you might be wondering.
If you take a closer look, you can see that Naver Web is dominating.
The 'm' in front of this is a record of access from a mobile phone, and there is also a small increase in the number of people who come in by directly searching for my story or through a specific site every month.
I'm not promoting myself anywhere, but as I continue to write more and more on a particular topic, I'm getting more and more cited by sites in related fields.
In fact, this is a natural process of external incoming, but I think it's a little strange that it's known as external incoming because there are many cases of abuse.
Since February, I've been trying some new things, and right now the results aren't great, so I'm getting a little less search traffic.
We'll talk about that later when the data is cleaned up.
I'm sure you're also curious about how much money I'm making from these visits, so here's the AdSense revenue menu.
It's linked to Tistory, but it's a little different from the revenue generated by the AdSense report.
It's integrated, but it doesn't seem to get all the data from T-story.
You can see the actual revenue in AdSense, so to be precise, in March, I was earning about $1 per day with about 100 visitors per day.
If you're new to Tstory, even 100 visitors a day can be a challenge, so you might expect to earn around $5 per 100 visitors.
But the reality is that around $1 is more common.
Of course, your earnings will vary depending on the keywords of your blog's topic, but especially in the beginning, ad revenue is not a big deal.
It's not easy to make money.
Also, you won't hit $100 per month until May, and then you'll hit $100 for the first time in June.
Often, the first goal is to see $100 per month rather than $100,000 per month.
However, if you see Tstory-related lectures or advertisements somewhere, $100 seems really easy, but it's not that easy for someone who is just starting out.
As you post more and more, you'll get more visitors and more users who stick around for longer, which will naturally lead to a spike in ad revenue.
If you try to monetize with technology when you have a low number of visitors, there are limits and side effects.
So, while you'd think that everyone who's been on Tumblr for a long time would be able to monetize the lowest number of visitors, that's not usually the case.
I suspect the reason for this is that there's a special trick to making high returns in a short period of time.
But if you're too curious, I'll go into more detail later.
Based on the exchange rate of 1300 won, a monthly profit of about $800 per month is about 1 million won per month in Korean won.
Around November, I started earning around 1 million won from this blog, and by January this year, I had accumulated around 1.8 million won in revenue.
As the number of visitors continued to increase and the number of top-ranked posts increased, it became a structure where a certain amount of revenue came in every day even if I didn't write much.
As of June, I'm earning roughly 10 times more than that, but unfortunately, most people don't make it to the so-called growth phase, when their earnings skyrocket, and give up.
If you've been making money like this before, even if you're starting a blog from scratch like me, you know it's going to happen eventually, so you can just keep doing it without thinking about it, but if you've never made money like this before, there's a lot of doubt about whether or not it's going to work in a "is this real?" kind of way.
And then you hear someone else saying that they're making $100,000 a day writing issues, and you're shaken by that.
That's how the mind works.
You might have a lot of reasons for why you're blogging on Tstory, like branding or whatever, but if you're just starting out and you have a goal that's too lofty, it can be really hard, or even discouraging.
Even if you're blogging for profit or other reasons, you may find that you don't get many visitors or make much money at first.
However, if you can get through this initial low-monetization period, you'll find that your visitor base grows and your posts start to appear higher in the search results, making blogging fun and generating steady revenue.On the other hand, people who don't make it through the initial low-monetization period often quit blogging, or try unusual ways to generate large amounts of revenue in a short period of time.
These methods end badly, and it's only when you've built up a search-influenced audience and have more top-ranked posts that blogging can be fun and generate a steady income.
Even things like screenshots of how much money you make in a day are just that, money, and you can make any amount of money.
If you make $33 a day, that's roughly $100 a month, if you make $100, that's $77 a day, and $999 can be manipulated in 10 seconds.
Don't be fooled by this simple monetization technique.
If a side hustle that earns you $100 a month was possible overnight without much effort on your part, wouldn't Tumblr be a lot more popular than it is now?
Earning real cash from blogging is not as easy as it may seem to the uninitiated.
Sure, it's possible to make a lot of money in a short period of time by blogging about issues or using high-priced keywords like loans, but it's not a scam.
It's possible, but there's no guarantee that the money you make today will be there tomorrow, and you'll have to keep putting in the work and hoping your blog doesn't get banned.
And when it does, you're left with a little money and a lot of frustration.
Well, in that case, you can do the same again with another blog, but it is said that the method of making high profits at the beginning is good for a while, but in the end, it is exhausting and cannot be done for a long time.If you run Tstory well, it seems that you can make 1, 300, 500 million won per month.
The problem is that it's too easy to assume that anyone can make $100,000 in a month or two by putting in an hour or two a day, especially if you're a beginner.
Let's be realistic and rephrase the question.
If I get 5,000 visitors a day, I can make $100 a month.
If I can get 10,000 people a day to my story, I can make $2 million a month.
Of course, there's editing.
It takes a steady stream of visits to get 5,000 people every day, not just a spike in a month or two.
Not just once in a while, but every day for a month.
That's not easy, right?
Does this seem a little more realistic?
There are some people who say that you can make $100,000 a month with just 1000 visits a day, but what they don't tell you is how that's possible, which I'll cover in detail in a separate post.
I think you'll understand that what I've talked about today is not so sweet.
It's hard to monetize a blog.
I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed, but if you get your hopes up too high, you're going to be disappointed too.
In the future, I will try to cover a lot of realistic content in the video and prepare a lot of tips to help you run Tstory.
