요즘에 은행 위기가 있긴 한데 뭐 그것보다 더 큰 이슈가 생겨서 왔습니다.
저는 감히 이제 인류가 오피스 노가다에서 구원받게 되었다라고 이야기를 하고 싶은데요.
마이크로소프트의 CEO 사티한 아델라는 이렇게 비유를 하더라고요.
키보드와 마우스 멀티터치 없이 컴퓨터를 쓸 수 없듯이 이제는 코파일럿이 없는 컴퓨터는 상상할 수도 없을 것이다.
도대체 코파일럿이 보길래 이렇게까지 이야기를 하나 싶죠.
그래서 한번 코파일럿 얘기를 오늘 마이크로소프트의 오피스와 코파일럿이 오늘 어떻게 접목이 될 건지에 대해서 한번 얘기를 해보겠습니다.
몇 시간 전에 마이크로소프트에서 발표를 했고요.
그 자료에 기반을 하고 있어요.
일단 코파일럿을 뭐라고 우리가 생각을 하면 될까라고 많이들 궁금해하실텐데 나만을 위한 인공지능 인턴이라고 생각하시면 돼요.
옛날에 그 마이크로소프트 쓰시던 분들 그 멍멍이 하나 나오던 거 기억나시나 모르겠다.
멍멍이 하나 나와 가지고 뭘 해드릴까요.
뭐 이렇게 했는데 아무런 능력이 없던 멍멍 기구도 있었는데 어쨌든 이제는 진짜로 한 명의 인턴처럼 내가 오피스를 사용할 때 잡일을 시킬 수 있는 인턴이 하나 생겼다고 생각하시면 돼요.
자 하나하나 보도록 하겠습니다.
자 일단은 이메일을 하나 쓸 거예요.
그래서 마이크로소프트의 이메일 프로그램이 아웃룩이라고 있는데 그 아웃룩이라는 프로그램에서 가정을 하는 거죠.
내 딸 타사가 졸업을 하게 됐다.
뭐 그런 내용의 이메일을 쓰는 거예요.
타샤가 뭐 고등학교 졸업을 하는 걸 알리고 우리가 얼마나 그녀에 대해서 자랑스럽게 생각하고 그리고 이제 친구 가족과 축하연을 열 거라고 편지를 써 줘라고 이렇게 장소 정보까지 넣어서 코파일럿한테 시키잖아요.
그래서 제너레이터를 딱 누르면 편지가 만들어져요.
뾰뵤하고 편지가 만들어져 그러니까 즉 뭐 뭐 하는 거 좀 써 줘.
ChatGPT 쓰시는 분들은 이런 식으로 요즘 많이 쓰시잖아요.
그게 그냥 아웃룩 안에 들어갔다라고 생각하셔도 돼요.
뭐 아시다시피 마이크로소프트가 사실상 ChatGPT의 개발사를 소유하고 있는거나 다름이 없기 때문에 뭐 같은 기술로 만들어졌다라고 생각하시면 됩니다.
자 그리고 더 후덜덜한 기능들 중에 하나가이 방금 메일을 쓴 거 같고 길이를 정할 수도 있어요.
좀 길이를 좀 짧게 만들고 싶다라고 하면 short 요르면 바로 짧아지고요.
그 다음에 글의 문체 문장의 어떤 느낌들도 다양하게 낼 수가 있는데 좀 프로 같은 느낌 전문적인 느낌을 낼 수도 있고 그냥 평범하게 갈 수도 있고 뭐 C 같이 쓸 수도 있고 이렇게 여러 가지 스타일로 글을 쓸 수가 있습니다.
클릭만 하면 바로바로 바뀌는 거야.

미친 거 같아.
뿐만 아니라 이메일 프로그램한테 명령을 내렸는데 이제는 마이크로소프트의 파워포인트한테 명령을 내릴 수가 있어요.
내 딸이 고등학교를 졸업을 하는데 그것에 대한 프리젠테이션을 만들어 줘 그러면서 뭐 그녀는 축구도 하고 뭐 전자 클럽에도 있었고 뭐 어쩌고저쩌고 막 그런얘기를 합니다.
그래서 정말 흰 바탕에다가 프리젠테이션 만들어 달라고 코파일럿한테 명령을 내리니까 요렇게 뾰뵤뵹 디자인도 그냥 코파이러스 다 알아서 한 거야.
그리고 이따가 나오는데 이 딸 사진까지 알아서 갖고 와서 내 컴퓨터에 있는 나의 딸 사진까지 찾아 가지고 그것도 갖고 오고 그 다음에 그녀가 졸업을 하니까 햅틱 레쥬에이션 뭐 졸업 축하해 뭐 이런 것들을 갖고 오고 9페이지짜리 슬라이드를 만듭니다.
그래서 여기 보면은 그녀의 졸업과 관련된 기념비적인 상황들의 사진들이 들어가 있어요.
그래서 딸 이름이 타샤인데 이 사진은 어떻게 가까운 건지는 제가 맨 뒤에 설명을 하도록 하겠습니다.
어쨌든 이렇게 딸 사진을 갖고 와서 정보가 뿅뿅하고 나오고요 내가 왼쪽 창에서 슬라이드를 이렇게 만들고 오른쪽이 이제 코파일럿이랑 대화하는 창이거든요.
근데 이제 특정 위치에 있는 슬라이드에 있는 내용이 마음에 안 들어서 글을 다시 작성한 다음에 오른쪽에 있는 코파일럿과 대화하는 대화창에서 이거를 좀 간결하고 관련 이미지를 넣어 줘라고 이렇게 명령을 내리니까 방금 아까이 슬라이드가 바뀌어요.
타샤가 하키 클럽에 있었거든요.
그러니까 하키 그림이 들어가 있고 일렉트로닉스 클럽에 있었는데 요것도 전자 무슨 반도체 같은 그림도 넣어주고요.
이렇게 오른쪽에서 내가 명령만 내리면 알아서 뭔가 만들어 줍니다.
자 그리고 마이크로소프트에서 또 있는 원노트라고 해서 노트 작성하는 프로그램이 있는데 거기서 그냥 내가 이번에 타샤의 고등학교 졸업 파티 한 30명에서 50명 정도 부를 건데 이거 계획 좀 작성해 줘라고 하면 바로 바로 계획을 만들어 버려.
이런게 되나 그리고 계획에 따른 투두 리스트를 만들어 달라고 오른쪽에 코파일럿이랑 대화할 수가 있기 때문에 오른쪽 여기다가 투두리스트 만들어 달라고 하니까 아까 그 계획에 따른 투두 리스트를 만들어 줍니다.
당연히 마이크로소프트 워드에서도 되고요.
그래서 워드를 킨 다음에 거기도 코파일럿을 불러서 나의 딸 타샤의 졸업 파티 때 내가 할 만한 3분 스피치를 좀 써달라.
그래서 그녀가 얼마나 열심히 성취했는지 늦은 밤에 공부한 얘기도 넣고 하키 팀에서의 성취도 좀 넣어줬으면 좋겠어라고 하면서 제너레이트 버튼을 딱 누르면 타샤의 졸업식에 어떤 축사 3분짜리 축사가 짠하고 나오는 겁니다.
그 다음에 이번에는 제안서를 작성하는데 제안서를 작성할 때 지난 회의 때 있었던 회의록이 어디 있는지에 대한 정보를 놓고 그 다음에 지금 우리 회사가 갖고 있는 어떤 제품 로드맵에 대한 문서를 넣어서 이 두 가지를 넣어서 제안서를 작성해 달라고 하니까 방금 두 문서들의 기반해서 바로 제안서가 나옵니다.
더 무서운게 뭐냐면 이렇게 제안서가 만들어지긴 했는데 뭐랄까요.
되게 평범한 워드 문서잖아요.
형식을 어떻게 바꾸냐면 내가 다른 워드 파일에서 쓰던 형식으로이 형식을 다 바꾸고 그 다음에 그림은 내가 원래 만들어 놓은 다른 PPT 파일이 있는데 그 PPT 안에이 파일 안에 있는 그림들을재사용해서 적절하게 배치해라라고 명령을 내리니까 그걸 알아서 필요한 그림들이 필요한 곳에 들어가 있고 그리고 문서 형식 전체가 다 바뀌어요.
야 이거 이런 노가다 진짜 많이 하지 않았어요.
내가 매번 문서 만들 때마다 저쪽 문서 형식에 맞춰야 된다고 해가지고 일단은 간단하게 문서를 작성한 다음에 저쪽에 있는 문서 형식을 이제 갖고 오려고 막 노가다를 했었잖아.
여러분들 그런 기억 없나요.
저는 그런 거 되게 많이 했었거든요.
문서 형식 맞추려고 이제는 그럴 필요가 없는 거예요.
그림에 대해서도 여러분들 아시겠지만 이번에 나온 gpt4에서는 그림에 대한 이해도 어느 정도 하고 있잖아요.
그래서 그런 기능도 아마 여기에 적용이 되지 않았을까 싶습니다.
그래서 각각의 그림에 대해서 이제 인공지능이 어떤 컨텍스트의 그림인지 이해를 하기 때문에 적재적소에 배치를 할 수 있게 바뀐 거 같고요.
그리고 문서를 봤는데 아 문서에 좀 요약본이 있었으면 좋겠어.
맨 앞에 보면 요약을 넣기도 하잖아요.
그래서 요약을 넣어 줘라고 코파일럿한테명령을 내리니까 짜잔하고 문서 전체에 요약이 나옵니다.
이런 것들도 여러분들 많이 해 봤을 것 같은데 여러분들이 워드 문서를 만들었는데 그 워드 문서에 기반해서 파워포인트 파일 만드는 것 되게 많이 해보지 않았어요.
더 이상 여러분들이 직접 하실 필요가 없습니다.
코 파일럿한테 시키기만 하면 됩니다.
크레이터 프리젠테이션 베이스톤 프로포설 이렇게 말만 하면 짠하고 아까 만들었던 워드 문서에 기반한 파워포인트 문서가 만들어집니다.
디자인은 당연히 알아서 다 해주는 거고요.
더 무서운 건 뭐냐 밑에 발표자용 노트까지 다 넣어줘요.
할게 없어 제가 보기에 인간이 할 거는이 문서들의 문제가 있는지 컨펌만 하면 된다 이런 생각이 듭니다.
자 이제 엑셀로 한번 가볼까요.
여러분들 엑셀 써 보셨죠.
지금이 엑셀에 있는 자료는 뭐냐면 이 회사에서 어떤 제품이 어떤 고객에게 얼만큼 팔렸나 1분기 실적 자료가 들어가 있는데 이걸 갖고 그냥 숫자 보면 아무것도 모르겠죠.여기서 도대체 우리가 알아야 되는게 뭔지를 요약을 해달라 분석하고 요약해 줘라고 코파일럿한테 물어볼 수가 있어요.
그러니까 엑셀 파일을 해설해 달라는 거야 중요한 것만 야 딱 중요한 것만 알려 줘 이렇게 얘기하니까 코파일럿이 알려줍니다.
그래서 매출은 모든 고객에 대해서 상승 중인데 뭐 플러스웨어이 고객만 이번 분기 하락했다 제조 비용은 또 3분기에 상승을 했는데 뭐 이번 분기에는 제작 비용이 하락했다.
이런 이런 얘기들을 알아서 엑셀을 보고 해설을 해주는 거야.
와 이런 것들도 사실 인턴들한테 많이 시키는 일 아니에요.
엑셀 파일 딱 던져놓고 야 네가 읽어보고 요약해 줘 중요한 포인트만 몇 개 얘기해 줘 이런 거 많이 시켜보지 않았어요.
바로 그런 걸 해줍니다.
그리고 이제 아웃룩 모바일에서 있는 기능 중에 하나인 거 같은데 이메일이 너무 길어 이메일 되게 길게 쓰는 사람들 있잖아요.
장원충들이 있잖아.
근데 그 장군 층들의 레일을 본 다음에 이제는 바로 버튼이 하나 딱 있어요.
컨버세이션 써머리요.
버튼만 딱누르면 긴 이메일이 짧게 한 세 줄 요약이 됩니다.
야 이제 더 이상 여러분들 인터넷 커뮤니티 글 쓸 때 세 줄 요약할 필요가 없어 왜 세 줄 요약은이 코파일럿이나 ChatGPT가 해주니까 요즘은 좀 덜 하긴 하지만 코로나 시대에는 재택근무하면서 화상으로 미팅을 되게 많이 했는데요.
이 화상 미팅 하다가 여러분들 어떤 걸 제일 많이 했어요.
화상미팅 해보신 분들은 요거 있었으면 좋겠다는 생각 되게 많이 했을 것 같은데 지금까지 무슨 일이 있었어.
우리 this meeting so far 지금까지 도대체 무슨 일이 있었는지 좀 얘기해줄래 채팅창에서 이렇게 딱 물어보는 거지.
그러면은 이게 그 마이크로소프트 팀즈의 연동이 되어 있나 봐요.
그래서 화상회의를 하고 있으면 바로 어떤 일이 있었는지 바로 물어볼 수가 있습니다.
그래서 지금까지 있었던 미팅에 대해서 요약을 해줍니다.
뭐 리니버 에너지 리타임이 뭐 어쩌고저쩌고가 있고 그런 얘기들을 미팅에서 했었나 봐요.
그런데 또 재밌는게 지금이 미팅 참여자들이 현재 인벤토리 재고 상황에 대해서 어떻게느끼는지까지 의견도 구할 수가 있어요.
각자가 재고에 대해서 어떻게 느끼고 있는지를 또 설명을 해줍니다.
그러니까 각각 미팅에 대해서 어떤지 이것도 어떻게 보면 약간 인턴 하나 옆에 있는 거 같잖아요.
인턴한테 나 지금까지 미팅 안 들었는데 걔네들이 재고 상황에 대해서 어떻게 생각하고 있어.
이렇게 인턴한테 물어볼 수 있잖아.
그거를 지금 똑같이 하고 있는 거예요.
이런 정말 신박한 기능들이 어떻게 좀 밑단 구현이 될까 마이크로소프트가 아주 짧게 설명을 해주고 있습니다.
이 마이크로소프트 365 앱스라고 해서 이제 오피스에 있는 각각의 앱들이죠.
그래서 뭐 워드라든가 팀즈라든가 엑셀 파워포인트 아웃룩 이런 소프트웨어에서 오른쪽에 보면 이제 뭐 코파일럿 창이 뜨잖아요.
그럼 거기에 제가 뭐를 요약해 줘 이렇게 입력을 하면은 그걸 이제 유저 프롬프트라고 하거든요.
프롬프트를 타고 가는데 이게 바로 언어 모델로 넘어가는게 아니라 전처리 과정을 한번 거칩니다.
이걸 뭐 그라운딩이라고 하는데 이 그라운딩이라고 하는게 도대체.
뭐냐면은 지금까지 제가갖고 있던 데이터들이 컴퓨터 안에 있는 이메일 파일 데이터 뭐 그림 데이터 할 수도 있겠죠.
미팅과 관련된 데이터 뭐 대화 채팅과 관련된 데이터 캘린더에 정보들 뭐 연락처 정보 이런 것들을 다 합쳐서 여기서 의미 있는 것만 뽑아내는 거예요.
여기서 의미 있는 한번 뽑아내서 다시 언어 모델이 잘 이해할 수 있도록 변형된 프롬프트 변형된 구문을 집어넣습니다.
제가 아까 보여드렸던 타샤의 졸업 관련된 파워포인트 슬라이드를 만들어 달라고 했을 때 타샤의 사진이 있을 수 있는 이유는 타샤를 얘기했을 때 이 컴퓨터 안에 있는 타사의 사진을 갖고 왔기 때문입니다.
나의 내부 데이터까지 융합해서 인공지능이 사용한다라는게 진짜 대단한 일이고 한편으로는 좀 소름 돋는 일이죠.
그러니까 내 데이터들 물론 이거를 뭐 직장에 있는 컴퓨터에 한해서 뭐 할 수도 있겠죠.
예를 들면 뭐 그러면 그렇지만 아니 근데 직장이 있는 컴퓨터에 한해서 한다고 하더라도직장에서 일어나는 모든 일들에 대해서 마이크로소프트가 다 안다라는 건가.
물론 마이크로소프트가 아니더라도 회사가 다 알 수도 있는 거고 뭐 그런 여러 가지 생각들 진짜 슈퍼 빅브라더가 출연하나 뭐 이런 생각도 좀 들긴 하네요.
그리고 또 제작 후기를 마이크로소프트 여러분들이 짧게 얘기를 해주는데 마이크로소프트의 직원들이 직접 이용하면서 만들었다고 합니다.
그리고 이게 또 재밌는 것 중에 하나가 여러분들이 지금까지 미팅에 어떤 일이 있었어 이렇게 물어본다고 했잖아요.
물어본 다음에 바로 이거를 뭐 좋아 싫어 혹은 다시 재시도해 이런 식으로 사용자가 진짜 피드백을 줄 수가 있거든요.
자 저는 이 피드백을 보는 순환 어떤 생각이 드냐면 완전히 마이크로소프트만의 독점적인 오피스 피드백 데이터가 생기는 거예요.
이런 피드백 데이터가 생기면 파일럿이 더 좋은 코파일럿을 발전하거든요.
결국에 인공지능이 남들보다 차별적인 어떤 퍼포먼스를 내기 위해서는 독점적인 학습 데이터가 필요한데 그러한 학습 데이터를 다시 유저들에게 지금 뿌리면서 이 제품을 뿌리면서얻어낼 수가 있는 거예요.
다시 말하면 이 마이크로소프트의 코파일럿 오피스 코파일럿은 적어도 누구도 따라할 수 없을 정도로 저멀리 도망가 버릴지도 모르겠다라는 생각이 저는 듭니다.
다만 아직은 마이크로소프트가 여러가지 이슈들이 있을 수가 있기 때문에 소수의 고객들에게만 사용을 허가할 예정이다라고 이야기를 하고 있고 또 마지막으로 우리 제품 되게 실수가 많을 것이다.
먼저 얘기를 하더라고요.
많은 실수들이 있을 건데 계속 이토레이션 계속 반복을 하면서 좋은 제품으로 만들어 내겠다는 얘기를 했는데 이러한 접근 방식 자체가 되게 스타트업스러운 거거든요.
이 정말 직원도 몇 만 명이나 있을 있는 마이크로소프트와는 정말 엄청나게 큰 대형 기업이 이런 스타트업적인 마인드로 시도한다는 것 자체가 저는 너무나도 인상적입니다.
마이크로소프트의 실행 능력이 정말 빠른 거 같아요.
지금 마이크로소프트의 모든 제품에 지금 순식간에 인공지능이 적용되고 있지 않습니까.
정말 무섭고요.시장도 그걸 알고 있는 거 같아요.
현재 시간 마이크로소프트 주가 약 3.6% 상승 중 마이크 이렇게 시가총액이 투 트윌리엄 달러인 걸 감안하면 세계에서 가장 큰 회사 중에 하나인 걸 감안하면 정말 엄청난 큰 폭의 움직임이라고 할 수 있죠.
다만 제가 살짝 고민되는 거는 이런 거인 거 같아요.
그러니까 트레일러와 예고편과 실제 게임 영상이 인게임 뭐 영상이라고도 하는데 인게임 영상이 차이가 나는 경우가 꽤 있거든요.
아마 게임 많이 해보신 분들 알 거예요.
그래서 아 요런 그럼 데모팔이지 않을까 실제 제가 제품을 못 봤으니까 아 데몬 너무 환상적인데 아 좀 이건 데모이기 때문에 그런게 아닐까 뭐 이런 생각이 조금 들긴 하더라고요.
그래서 그러지 않았으면 좋겠는데 자 이게 아틀라스라는 게임인데 이제 배를 운전하는 데모가 나오죠.
데모 영상은 너무 멋있어.
근데 이게 이게 실제 게임 영상 아까 아까 지금 보셨어요.
데모 영상은이런데 막 게임 영상은 이런 거야.
그래서 이런 일은 절대 일어나지 않기를 진심으로 바라면서 마지막 감상평 한번 남겨 보겠습니다.
20년만 늦게 태어날 걸 30년 늦게 태어나야 되나 그럼 전 빵살이니까 30년 늦게 태어나면 20년인 걸로 합시다.
어쨌든 아 몇 십년만 늦게 태어날 걸 뭐 이런 생각이 들어요.
지금까지 제가 마이크로소프트 오피스 쓰면서 얼마나 노가다를 많이 했는데 와 그 시간이 너무 아깝네 갑자기 저걸 보니까 막 형식 다 바꾸려고 진짜 쌩쇼를 했는데 테크 유튜버인지 금융 유튜버인지 알 수 없는 저 김단태는 둘 중에 하나의 이슈가 터지면 또 찾아오도록 하겠습니다.

I'm here because there's a banking crisis, but it's bigger than that.
I dare to say that humanity has been saved from the office slog.
Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, made this analogy.
Just as we can't imagine using a computer without multi-touch on the keyboard and mouse, we can't imagine using a computer without a Copilot.
I'm like, "What the heck is a Copilot doing here?
So let's talk about Copilot and how it's going to be integrated with Microsoft's Office today.
Microsoft made an announcement a couple hours ago.
I'm building on that.
First of all, I know a lot of people are wondering what we're going to think of Copilot, but think of it as your own personal AI intern.
I don't know if you remember back in the day, those Microsoft guys, they used to have a dog.
What can I do with this dog?
Well, there was a dog apparatus that did this and that and it didn't do anything, but anyway, now you can actually think of it as an intern that can do chores for you when you're using the office.
So let's go through this one by one.
So the first thing I'm going to do is write an email.
So Microsoft's email program is called Outlook, and in that program called Outlook, I'm going to make a hypothetical.
My daughter Tasa is graduating.
I'm writing an email that says something like that.
And I'm telling my Copilot to write a letter to let Tasha know that she's graduating from high school or something and how proud we are of her and that we're going to have a celebration with her friends and family, and I'm putting in the location information.
So you press the generator and it creates the letter.
It's pointy and it creates a letter, so it's like, write me something.
If you're using ChatGPT, you're using this a lot these days.
You can think of it as just being inside Outlook.
Well, you know, Microsoft actually owns the developer of ChatGPT, so you can assume it's built with the same technology.
Now, one of the more nerdy features is I think I just wrote this mail, and I can also set the length.
So if I want to make it a little bit shorter, I can just hit short and it'll be shorter.
And then you can also change the stylistic feel of the post, so you can have a little bit of a professional feel, a professional feel, or you can just go plain, or you can write like a C, or you can write in a lot of different styles.
And you just click on it and it just changes.

It's crazy.
Not only that, but I can command my email program, and now I can command Microsoft's PowerPoint.
My daughter is graduating from high school and I want her to make a presentation about it, and she's like, well, she played soccer, she was in the electronics club, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So I'm like, "Hey, make me a presentation on a really white background," and I'm like, "Hey, make me a presentation," and I'm like, "Hey, make me a spiky design," and she's like, "Hey, make me a spiky design.
So what you're looking at here are pictures of the milestones of her graduation.
So my daughter's name is Tasha, and I'll explain at the end how this picture is close.
So anyway, I've got a picture of my daughter like this, and the information is popping out, and I've got a slide like this in the left pane, and the right is now the window where I'm talking to the Copilot.
But now I don't like what's on the slide in a certain place, so I rewrite it, and then I say, "Make this more concise and put a relevant image in the dialog with the Copilot on the right," and it just changes this slide.
Because Tasha was at the hockey club.
So it's got a picture of hockey in it, and then it's got a picture of her in the electronics club, and then it's got a picture of electronics, like semiconductors.
And then on the right side, I just tell it what to do and it creates something.
And then there's another program that Microsoft has called OneNote, which is a note-taking program, where you can just say, "Hey, I'm going to invite about 30 to 50 people to Tasha's high school graduation party, and I need you to create a plan for this," and it just creates a plan right there.
And then I can talk to my Copilot on the right, so I can say, "Create a to-do list," and it'll create a to-do list based on that plan.
And of course, it works in Microsoft Word.
So I open up Word, and then I call up my Copilot there, and I say, "Hey, write me a three-minute speech for my daughter Tasha's graduation party.
So I tell it how hard she's worked and how she's been studying late at night, and I want it to include some of her accomplishments on the hockey team, and I hit the generate button, and bam, there's a three-minute speech for Tasha's graduation.
And then the next time I'm writing a proposal, and I'm writing a proposal, I'm putting in information about where the minutes from our last meeting are, and then I'm putting in a document about some product roadmap that we have right now, and I'm putting those two things in and I'm saying, "Please write me a proposal," and it just comes up with a proposal based on those two documents.
And what's even scarier is that this is what the proposal looks like.
It's just a plain old word document.
How do I change the format, I change all this formatting to the format that I was using in my other word file, and then the pictures, I have another PPT file that I originally created, and I tell it to reuse the pictures in this file inside the PPT and place them appropriately, and it does that, and the pictures that I need are where I need them, and then the whole document format is changed.
Man, this is something I haven't really done a lot of.
You remember when I used to create a document every time and the sun would go down and I'd say, "Oh, I have to fit that document format over there," and then I'd just write a simple document and then I'd go, "Oh, I have to get that document format over there now.
Do you guys remember that?
I used to do that a lot.
I don't have to do that anymore because I'm trying to format the document.
And you know about the pictures, you know, in GPT4, which came out this year, we have some understanding of pictures.
So I think that's probably something that's been applied here as well.
So for each picture, the AI now understands what context the picture is in, so I think it's changed so that it can place it in the right place.
And I was looking at the documentation, and I was like, oh, I wish there was a summary in the documentation.
You know, you put a summary at the front.
So I tell my Copilot, "Put a summary in," and voila, there's a summary throughout the document.
I'm sure you've done a lot of these things, but I haven't done a lot of these things where you've created a Word document and you've created a PowerPoint file based on that Word document.
You don't have to do that anymore.
You can just have your Copilot do it.
You say, "Crater presentation baseline proposal," and voila, a PowerPoint document is created based on the word document that you created earlier.
It does all the design for you.
What's even scarier is that it includes all the speaker notes underneath.
There's nothing to do, and I'm like, "Okay, the only thing a human is going to do is check these documents for problems.
So let's go to Excel.
You guys have used Excel.
Now, what I have in this excel is the first quarter financials for this company, what products did they sell to what customers, how much did they sell, and if I take this and just look at the numbers, I don't know anything, and I can ask my Copilot to analyze it and summarize what the hell we need to know here.
I'm like, "I need you to explain this excel file to me, just the important stuff, just the important stuff," and he does.
So revenue is up for all customers, but only Plus Wear is down this quarter, and manufacturing costs went up in Q3, but they went down this quarter.
So I'm able to look at the excel and comment on all these things.
Wow, this is actually not something I ask interns to do a lot.
I just throw an excel file at you and you read it and you summarize it and you tell me some of the important points and I don't ask them to do that a lot.
That's what it does.
And now, I think it's one of the features in Outlook Mobile, but you know, you have people who write really long emails.
You know, long-winded people.
But then you see those rails of generals, and now there's just one button right there.
Conversation summaries.
With the push of a button, a long email becomes a short three-line summary.
I don't have to do the three-line summary anymore when I'm writing for the internet community because this Copilot or ChatGPT does it for me, so I do it a little less nowadays, but during the corona era, I was working from home and I had a lot of video meetings.
During this video meeting, what did you guys do the most?
Those of you who have done video meetings must have done a lot of things that you wish you had, but what has happened so far?
We're in this meeting so far, can you tell me a little bit about what's been going on so far, and I'll just ask you in the chat box.
And then it's like, "Okay, this is a Microsoft Teams integration.
So if you're on a video conference, you can ask what happened right away.
So it gives me a summary of the meeting so far.
It's like, well, I think we had a meeting where we talked about what's going on with Renewable Energy Retime and stuff like that.
But what's also interesting is that I can also get feedback from the people in this meeting about how they feel about the current inventory situation.
And they're explaining how they feel about their inventory.
So how they're feeling about the meeting, and it's kind of like I'm sitting next to an intern.
I can ask the intern, I haven't listened to the meeting so far, what are they thinking about the inventory situation.
I can ask the intern like that.
That's exactly what I'm doing right now.
Microsoft is giving us a very short explanation of how these really new features are going to be implemented under the hood.
These are called Microsoft 365 apps, and they're each of the apps that are now in Office.
So if I'm in Word, or Teams, or Excel, or PowerPoint, or Outlook, or whatever, and I look on the right-hand side, I'm now going to see a Copilot window.
And I'm going to type something in there that summarizes what I'm doing, and that's now called a user prompt.
I take the prompt and it doesn't go straight to the language model, it goes through one preprocessing step.
It's called grounding, but what the heck is this grounding?
What it means is that the data that I have so far is the email files that I have on my computer, maybe pictures, maybe data about meetings.
Data from meetings, data from conversations, data from chats, information from calendars, contact information, all of that stuff, and I'm just trying to pull out what's meaningful here.
And then once we have that one meaningful piece of information, we're going to put in a transformed prompt transformed phrase so that the language model can understand it well.
When I asked you to create that PowerPoint slide about Tasha's graduation that I showed you earlier, the reason it had a picture of Tasha is because when I talked about Tasha, I brought in a picture of a third party that's on this computer.
It's really cool and it's kind of creepy at the same time that it's fusing my internal data and using it.
So my data, of course, I could do something with this, but only on my computer at work.
For example, yes, but no. But even if you only do it on the computer at work, does that mean Microsoft knows everything that happens at work?
Of course, even if it's not Microsoft, the company may know everything, and there are various thoughts like that. I wonder if there is a real Super Big Brother.
And then there's a little bit of a testimonial from the folks at Microsoft, and they say that they've been using it themselves.
And one of the things that's funny about it is that you're like, "Hey, what's been going on in your meetings so far?
And then right after you ask, "What did you like or dislike about this," or "Try this again," so you can get real feedback from users.
Now I'm looking at this feedback loop, and I'm thinking, you know what, we're going to have Office feedback data that's completely proprietary to Microsoft.
And when you have this feedback data, pilots develop better Copilots.
At the end of the day, AI needs proprietary training data in order to do something that's different than the rest, and we can get that training data back to our users by spraying them with this product now.
In other words, I think that this Microsoft Copilot Office Copilot may run away with it, at least to the point where no one can copy it.
However, Microsoft is still saying that they're only going to make it available to a small number of customers because there could be a lot of issues, and lastly, our product is going to have a lot of mistakes.
They talked about it first.
We're going to make a lot of mistakes, but we're going to iterate and iterate and iterate, and we're going to make it a good product, and this whole approach is very startup-like.
It's just so impressive to me that a company like Microsoft, which is a really, really big company with tens of thousands of employees, is trying to do this with a startup mindset.
I think Microsoft's ability to execute is really fast.
I mean, they're putting AI into all of their products right now, and it's really scary.
It's really scary, and I think the market recognizes that.
Microsoft stock is up about 3.6% at this hour, Mike, which is a really big move for a company with a market capitalization of $2 trillion, one of the biggest companies in the world.
I guess the only thing I'm a little bit concerned about is this.
I mean, there's a difference between trailers and teasers and actual game footage, also known as in-game footage, and in-game footage.
You probably know this if you've played a lot of games.
So, I'm wondering if it's a demo arm, because I haven't actually seen the product, but it's so fantastic, but I'm wondering if it's because it's a demo.
So I hope not, but this is a game called Atlas, and now there's a demo of driving a ship.
The demo is so cool.

So I'm going to leave you with one last review that I sincerely hope will never happen.
I'll be born 20 years late, should I be born 30 years late, but I'm a bread man, so if I'm born 30 years late, let's say 20 years.
Anyway, I think I'll be born a few decades too late.
Until now, I've been working a lot while using Microsoft Office, but wow, that time is so wasteful, and suddenly when I saw that, I just did a really good show to change the format, but I, Kim Dantae, who can't tell if it's a tech youtuber or a financial youtuber, will come back when one of the two issues breaks out.
