갑자기 저희가 라이브를 편성을 하게 됐습니다.
저희 티타임즈의 이런 식으로 임금 라이브를 했던 게 단 한 번도 없습니다.
직접 했던 건 단 한 번도 없는데, 어제 밤에 MS 발표를 보고 "어 이거는 미뤄서 말씀을 드릴 내용이 아닌 거 같아서" 긴급 라이브를 갑자기 편성을 해 봤고요.
어제 발표기 때문에 어제도 아니죠.
불과 지금 딱 12시간 전 발표이기 때문에 정보는 뭐 그렇게 공개된 게 많지 않고요.
이 충격을 받으신 여러분들과 함께 의견 좀 나누고 싶어서 또 라이브를 열게 된 것도 있고, 어떤 분들은 어제 발표를 안 보신 분들도 꽤 많더라고요.
그래서 주위에 지금 기사가 뭐 한두 개씩 나오고 있긴 한데, 이게 어제 발표를 이렇게 실시간으로 지켜보신 분이랑 지금 뭐 MS가 오피스에 ChatGPT 붙인데 정도로 기사를 보신 분이랑은 지금 온도 차이가 상당히 심합니다.그래서 어제 밤에 라이브를 보면서도 페이스북에 오는 올라오는 반응들을 있는데, 페이스북에 바로바로 보시고 올리신 분들은 정말 소름돋았다.
"아이폰 이후 최고의 지금 혁신이 아닌가?"라는 말씀을 많이 전달을 해 주셨고요.
주위에 기사로 보신 분들은 지금 아직 별로 그런 느낌을 못 받으셨더라고요.
그래서 티타임지가 왜 이렇게까지 호들갑을 떠느냐를 한번 좀 지켜보시면서, 어제 발표가 어떤 내용이었는지를 간략하게 좀 설명을 드리도록 하겠습니다.
또 이틀 전에는 구글도 발표를 했었어요.
그래서 구글도 이번 생성 AI 관련해서 관련 발표가 있어서 비교를 해서 오늘 간략하게 한번 이야기를 나눠보도록 하겠습니다.

오늘은 특히나 댓글창에 많이 의견들 나눠 주셨으면 좋겠고요.
어제 밤에 우리나라 시간으로 12시에 MS1의 미래 AI를 통한 생산성 재창조라는 발표가 있었습니다.
영어로 "The Future of Work: Reimagining Business Process through AI" 라는 발표였었는데요.저희가 이 라이브를 할 생각은 전혀 없었어요.
때문에 지금 제 상태를 보시면 알겠지만, 어제 늦게까지 발표를 보고서 전혀 준비가 되지 않은 상태인데, 발표를 보고서네 그냥 넘기면 안 되겠다라는 생각이 들 정도의 발표였습니다.
왜 충격적이었냐면, 원래 어제 발표에 대해서 찌라시가 돌았었어요.
어제 발표는 이전까지만 해도 GPT 4에 대한 발표가 될 것이다라는 이야기가 많이 돌았었거든요.
그 다음에 MS와 오픈 AI가 어떻게 협업할 건지 이런 이야기가 나오지 않을까라는 그런 찌라시가 돌았었는데, 의외로 한 이틀 3일 전에 GPT 4가 공개가 되어 버렸죠.
그래서 GPT 4가 공개가 됐는데 막상 파라미터라든가 이런 것들이 공개가 안 돼서 그러면 어제 밤에 발표에서는 그런 GPT 4에 대해서 조금 더 자세한 이야기들이 발표가 되겠구나라고 다들 기대를 하고 있었는데, 전혀 상상하지 못했던 이미 서비스의 생성 AI를 인티그레이션 할 수 있다라는 내용을 발표를 해버렸습니다.
이 내용은 다들 예상은 했었어요.
언젠가 MS가 오피스 제품에 생성 AI를 넣어서 뭐 엑셀을 입으로이 코딩하듯이 엑셀을 입으로 만든다거나 이런게 되지 않을까라고 상상들은 당연히 하셨었는데, 이게 몇 년 후가 되지 않겠냐, 뭐 올해 말 정도 돼야 하나 뭐 10원 버전이 나오고 이제 천천히 적용되지 않겠냐라고 다들 예상을 했었던 것 같은데, 갑자기 코파일럿이라는 이름으로 이미 우리가 다 준비가 됐다는 식으로 발표를 했습니다.그래서, 그게 너무 충격적이었었고요.
앞서서 GPT 4가 왔을 때 조금 실망감들이 있었어요.
GPT 4가 나오면 GPT 3보다 훨씬 더 혁신적인 서비스가 되지 않을까라고 생각을 했었는데, 막상 까보니까 저희가 직접적으로 체험할 수 있는 내용을 이렇게 많지가 않았죠.
GPT 4 공개된 내용들을 한번 보시면, 뭐 SAT 시험을 봤을 때 상위 10% 안에 든다, GPT 쓰기보다 더 오래 기억할 수 있다, 그 다음에 더 깊은 이야기 이런 것도 정확성도 올라간다라는 그런 내용들이었었는데, 한번 사용을 해보셨는지 사용해 보신 분들 좀 여기 글 좀 남겨주시면 좋을 것 같은데, GPT 4가 채취된 내용을 바로 적용이 된다.
그래서 유료 일제를 해서 써봤거든요.
그랬더니, 이게 '오래 기억한다는게' 굉장히 파워풀 하긴 하더라고요.
어떤 내용이 있었냐면, 저 같은 경우에 제가 영어 공부를 좀 하고 싶으니 이제 내가 너한테 영어로 물어볼 때, 내 문장에 대해서 어색한 부분이 있으면 앞으로 고쳐주라라고 부탁을 했어요.ChatGPT 한테 그랬더니 제가 물어보는 모든 문장을 일단 자연스럽게 윤문을 해주고 대답을 하더라고요.
이거를 제가 GPT 3.5 버전으로도 시도를 해봤는데 한두 번 외에는 이걸 안 해줍니다.
근데 GPT4는 지속적으로 기억을 하고 제가 대화를 할 때 아주 친절하게 문장을 고쳐주고 이야기를 해주는 걸 보면서 확실히 좀 개선이 됐구나 그런 생각을 했습니다.
그다음에 뭐 어떤 아이디어 같은 걸 물어봤을 때도 예전에는 티타임지에서 그냥 썼던 수준의 그냥 당연히 다 아는 수준의 내용들을 추천을 해줬었는데, GPT 4는 저희 한참 검색을 해야 하나 나올 만한 좀 깊은 이야기도 해주더라고요.
그래서 확실히 정확성이 좀 더 개선이 되고 좀 더 깊은 이야기를 할 수 있고 기억을 오래 하는게 파워풀하긴 하구나라는 생각까지는 했었습니다.
근데 거기에 대한 설명 내용이 어제 밤에 나왔던게 아니고요.
어제 밤에는 전혀 다른이 오피스에서 어떻게 생성 AI를 쓸 수 있느냐에 대해서 발표가 나왔습니다.
뭐 어제 공개한 내용이 한 30분 조금 넘는 내용이어서 하나하나 기능들을 다 설명해 주지는 않았지만 어제 보여준 영상만으로도 굉장히 충격적이었거든요.
일단 오프닝을 나델라가 이야기를 했었는데 나델라 한번 화면을 보시면은 그냥 항상 나오던 나델라였는데 느낌이요.
한 13년 전에 잡스를 보는 좀 느낌이 들었습니다.
옷도 좀 일부러 그렇게 입고 오셨는지 모르겠는데 저렇게 설명을 해주시면서 주요 내용 제일 와닿았던 내용이 뭐였었냐면, 예전에 컴퓨터를 쓰실 때 지금까지는 키보드랑 마우스 그 다음에 멀티터치를 이용해서 컴퓨터를 쓰지 않았냐?
이제 앞으로는 전혀 다른 시대가 도래할 것이다.
그게 지금 시작된다라고 하면서 앞으로의 내용들을 공개를 했습니다.
그래서 그 화면을 다른 분들한테 넘기면서 하나하나 서비스들에 대해서 보여줬는데요.
서비스들이 굉장히 충격적이었어요.그 화면들을 한번 이렇게 슬쩍 뛰어 놓고, 제가 자세하진 않아도 어떤 내용에서는 간략하게 설명을 드리면 요게 지금 MS에 가시면 볼 수 있는데, 지금 서버가 폭주해가지고 영상이 안 나오는데도 있다고 하더라고요.
여기 지금요.
화면은 지금 내용을 그냥 요약해 주거나, 아니면 생성해주는 정도의 내용이었어요.
그래서 이거는 요새 지금 Notion에서도 쓸 수 있고, ChatGPT를 통해서도 쓸 수 있기 때문에 뭐 아 그러려니 했습니다.
그래서 이렇게 좀 시연을 하다가 저런 부분은 신기해서 이제 파일들을 내가 쓴 내용과 관련된 파일들을 알아서 찾아서 이렇게 추천을 해 준다는 거.
그런 예, 박철수님께서 또 다른 세상으로 들어온 느낌이더라고요.
저도 그 느낌을 받아서 지금 이렇게 지금 라이브를 하고 있는 거고요.
그래서 이분이 이제 설명을 좀 해 주시다가, 그 다음에 아마 이제 PPT랑 이런 것들이 나올 텐데, PPT 장면이 왔네요.
예, PPT가 왔습니까?
PPT가 나오고 지금 워드 파일인가를 PPT에 그냥 있는데, 워드 파일에 있는 내용을 그냥 PPT로 변환을 해줍니다.
알아서 그래픽이랑 해갖고 그냥 하나하나 이제 디자인 하실 필요 없고요.
PPT에 워드 내용 넣으시면 PPT가 알아서 만들어집니다.
그리고 옆에 이제 대화형으로 이런 뭐 슬라이드 이런 이런 식으로 고쳐져라고 이런 느낌으로 고쳐주라고 하면 그냥 말로 쓰면 해주고, 저런 식으로 지금 뭐 이야기 생성도 해주죠.
산업이 공목로비 70%는 짤려 나갈 듯이라고 하셨는데, 정말 그 느낌대로 직장생활 하시면서 PPT 만드는 시간 많이 쓰시잖아요.
이거를 혁신적으로 줄여주는 걸 나중에 하지 않을까라고 다들 예상을 했었죠.
근데 이게 지금 될거다.
금방 될거다라고 어제 발표를 했습니다.
다음으로들 나왔던 내용들을 보면 엑셀 보면은 그래프가 있잖아요.
그래프를 이제 엑셀 표 같은 걸 누르시고 나서, 그 다음에 뭐 여기서 어떤 트렌드 같은 걸 요약해달라라고 그냥 자연어로 써 넣으면 얘가 정리해서 알려줍니다.이거를 저희가 원래 엑셀 표가 있으면 후배 시켜 갖고, 뭐 이제 부장님께서 누구누구 시켜 갖고 불러들러서.
야 이거, 그래서 이게 뭐 무슨 뜻이야?
라고 물어봐야 되잖아요.
그거를 그냥 옆에 자연으로 넣으면요.
거기에서 인사이트를 뽑아서 줍니다.
그리고 표를 그래프로 바꾸고 이런 것도 그냥 자연어로 이야기를 하면은 알아서 그래프로 바꿔 주더라구요.
그래서 예, 지금 빌리언 에어스 인사이트 로우님께서 지금 오피스톨이지만 얼마 안 지나서 유튜브 영상도 저런 식으로 만들어 주니까 그게 다들 상상을 하셨잖아요.
근데 이렇게 빨리 이런 식으로 MS가 오피스에 적용을 할지 아무도 몰랐었거든요.
그리고 또 아웃룩 같은 거 보면요.
아웃룩도 이제 앞으로 나올 텐데, 뭐 이메일 답장을 하면서 1분기 매출 추이 보내줄게요, 뭐 이런 식으로 작성을 하면은 자동으로 그 엑셀 파일을 추천을 해줘서 거기에 이제 자동으로 넣을 수 있고요.
초안 작성하고 썸머리 해주고 그 다음에 이메일 여러분들 비즈니스 이메일 주고 받으시다 보면 굉장히 길고 이럴 텐데 그런 거 뭐 요약해 주고 이런 건 할 수 있을 거라고 생각을 했기 때문에 그거는 지금 된다고들 계속 여기 이제 영상에 보면 설명들을 해주는데 그건 엄청나게 충격은 아니었어요.
왜냐면, PPT랑 엑셀에서 너무 큰 충격을 먹어서네.
그 부분들은 지금 당연히 된다고.
지금 영상들을 보시면 쭉 나옵니다.
파라미터 지정해주고 결과물 정확하게 정의해주면 오토코딩도 나오는 반응이 저건 어쩜 난이도 낮은 단계일 수도라고도 말씀해주셨는데, 제가 관련 일을 하신 분들한테 좀 여쭤봤었는데 이게 사람이 말하거나 할 때 굉장히 불분명하기 때문에 생각보다 오피스에 적용하는게 쉽지 않을 거라는 대답을 최근에 받았었거든요.
제트피티 나오고 나서도 근데 저게 된다는게 좀 굉장히 충격적이었고요.
또 MS 팀즈 같은 경우에는, 요거는 뭐 예전부터 좀 얘기가 나왔던 기능인데, 참가자가 늦게 참가하거나 하면 이전에 대화했던 내용들을 뭐 요약본을 해준다거나요.
부분은 얼마 전에 제가 이쪽저쪽에서 좀 봤기 때문에 뭐 그런 것도 가능하다라는게 어제 계속 소개가 됐습니다.
예, 저와 이제 관련된 내용만 추려서 보여준다거나 이런 것들이 다 된다.
초벌 작업 상당히 만들어 준다는 얘기네요 라고 말씀해 주셨는데 그게맞기는 맞죠.예, ppt도 결국 보고서.
본인이 좀 고쳐야 되긴 할 텐데 대신에 그 고치는 것도 내가 하나하나 그래픽 디자인을 넣는게 아니라 그것도 자연으로 시킬 수 있다는 거죠.
그러니까, ppt랑 엑셀을 잘 다루는게 지금까지는 직장인한테 굉장히 큰 스킬이었잖아요?
그 문턱을 앞으로 낮춰줄 수 있다라는 이야기고요.
저희가 요새 GPT 4, 그다음에 ChatGPTu 생성 AI 시리즈를 하면서 이런저런 얘기를 많이 할 때 제가 내비게이션 예를 많이 듣는데, 이게 한 10년 전만 해도 택시 하시는 분인들이시려 하거나 뭐 이렇게 운전하시는 분들은 서울 아니면 어떤 지방의 길을 잘 아시는게 굉장히 그분들의 장점이었단 말이에요.
그래서 여러분들 아버지 예 때문에 떠올려 보시면, 내비게이션 초반에는 내비게이션이랑 싸우시는 분들 굉장히 많았어요.
야, 내가 더 정확해!
근데 이제 젊은 사람들은 내비게이션 보고 여기로 가자!
그러면 싸움이 났는데, 초반엔 어른들이 이겼단 말이에요.
왜냐면 실시간 정보가 지금 이렇게까지 제공이 안 됐었기 때문에, 그때는 골목골목 잘 알고 계시는 아버지가 이기셨는데, 요새는 전혀 얘기가 달라졌죠.근데 그 내비게이션이 혁신적으로 좋아지는 그 타이밍이 언제 오느냐에 문제였잖아요.
내비게이션은 저희가 ChatGPT랑 그다음에 생성 AI를 보면서 나왔다라고 알았는데, 혁신적으로 좋아지는 그 타이밍이 언제냐라고 생각을 다들 예상들만 하고 있었는데, 그게 어제 MS가 당장 돼라고 대답을 한게 아닌가라는 지금 그런 생각이 듭니다.
어쩜 구글 오피스, 이런 것과 차별 포인트가 약해진 MS 기존 제품들도 날개에 달아준 기억이라고 말씀하셨는데, 예, 진짜 맞는 거 같고요.
우리 아버지 세대는 차 안에 전국지도 책자 꼭 있었다고 맞습니다.
갖고 다녔었고, 저도 하다못해 10 몇 년 전만 해도 뭐 차 운전할 일이 있거나 외국 가고 그러면 무조건 지도부터 샀었거든요.
그게 뭐지도 산다는 건 모르는 얘기니까, 그 원래 못 하는 사람이니까 그럴 수 있는데, 그 빠꼼이라고 하잖아요.
길을 정확히 알고 계신 분들의 장점이 사라질 수 있다.
이게 이제 엑셀, 파워포인트를 기가 막히게 잘 다루시는 분들의 장점이 앞으로는 그냥 자연으로 써서 입코딩처럼 하시는 분과 크게 달라지지 않을 수도 있다라는 걸 어제 발표가 됐습니다.예, 이거 영상 보니까 진짜 쩔었습니다.라고 말씀을 해주셨습니다.
어제 정말 저도 깜짝 놀랐고요.
아, 심지어 어제 MS가 발표를 시작했는데, 사티아나델라가 초반에 이야기를 할 때까지만 해도 MS 주가가 전날 대비해서 0.23% 정도 오르는 수준이었어요.
나스닥 자체가 장이 좋았어서 근데 MS가 발표를 하는데 계속 주가가 올라가서 끝날 때쯤에는 3% 정도 올랐고요.
어제 이제 장 마감할 때 되니까 4%까지 올랐더라고요.
그러니까 이게 MS 발표 하나만으로 주가가 계속 올릴 정도로 어제 정말 대단한 발표였습니다요.
MS가 무서운 이유를 한 번 조금 더 설명을 드릴게요.
그 채찍 PT가 나오고 이랬을 때만 해도 MS가 ChatGPT를 통해서 많은 걸 활용할 수 있겠구나 정도 예상을 하셨는데요.
타임라인을 한 번 살펴보시면 MS가 얼마나 치열하게 준비했는지를 아실 수 있을 것 같은데, 채찍 PT가 출시된 게 작년 11월 30일입니다.
사실상 12월이다 몇 달 안 됐다고 볼 수 있는데, 우리나라에는 1월 뭐 중순 정도 돼서, 이 ChatGPT가 굉장히 좀 많이 알려주고 사람들이 많이 쓰기 시작했죠.근데, 그루브 얼마 안 돼서 빈 챗이 2월달에 출시를 했습니다.
그러니까, 빙의 빈 검색에 이 ChatGPT를 넣은 게 2월 달인데, 불가지 환단이 안 됐죠?
2월 달에 넣고 지금 벌써 1일 사용자가 1억 명을 넘었다고 합니다.
그러니까, 빙의 ChatGPT를 넣을 때만 해도 상당히 빠르게 움직인다라고 생각을 했었는데, 이번에 발표가 됐는데 MS가 얘기를 했죠.
"빙의 붙었던 건 사실 GPT 4야." 라고 얘기를 했죠.
이게 준비가 이미 돼 있었다는 얘기고요.
GPT 4가 3월 14일 날 발표를 했는데, MS는 "우리 빙은 이미지 4를 쓰고 있다" 라고 얘기를 했습니다.
그래서, 그때 그냥 예상하기로는, GPT 4가 미리 좀 나와 있었고, MS는 좀 빨리 움직였구나라고 생각을 했는데, 불과 이틀 후인 오늘 새벽에 MS 오피스이 코파일럿을 발표를 했다는 얘기는요.
이거는 그냥 추측이지만, 당연히 ChatGPT를 발표할 때부터 이 스텝을 다 준비를 했다는 얘기밖에 안 되고요.
굉장히 치밀하게 준비를 했기 때문에 더 기대되는 건 어디까지 치밀하게 준비를 하고 지금 움직이고 있는 거냐라는 의문이 드는 거죠.그리고, GPT4 정치 기술이 보통은 새로운 기술이 사람들한테 쓸모 있어라고 알려지고 나면 엄청나게 붐이 됐다가 당장 쓸모가 없을 때 확 사그라듭니다.
뭐, 예전에 비트코인도 보셨고 많은 기술들이 그런 식으로 확 올라갔다 내려가는데, 사실 AI도 처음 지금 소개된 기술들이 아니잖아요.
예전부터 계속 있었던 게 AI인데, 이번 AI가 다른 이유는 뭐냐면요, 이번만큼 생태계가 만들어질 수 있다는 걸 지금 지속적으로 보여주고 있는 거고, MS가 이렇게 급박하게 타임라인을 갖고 가면서 지속적으로 지금 한 달에 한 번씩 충격을 주고 있잖아요.
이 이야기가 이거는 끝날 이야기가 아니고 끝날 기술이 아니라, 이거는 진짜 기술이야라는 걸 지금 보여주고 있는 것이기 때문에 이번 만큼의 생태계가 만들어질 수도 있고, 이거는 웹3이나 메타버스처럼 그냥 죽어가는 기술이 아니라, 마치 모바일이 나왔을 때처럼 완전히 혁신을 새롭게 만들어 갈 수 있는 기술이다라는 걸 지금 느낄 수 있었습니다.
그래서, 그거를 보시려면 구글에 대해서도 한 번 좀 보셔야 될 것 같아요.

보시면 이제 구글이 발표를 한 게 Gmail이나 닥스 같은데 초한 작성을 해주고 뭐 교정도 해줄 수 있고, 닥스에서는 이제 브레인스토밍 같은 게 가능하다 이런 내용들이었고요.
구글의 타임라인을 한번 좀 생각을 해 보시면은, 지난 2월에 바들을 발표를 했었죠.
이제 빙의랑 ChatGPT랑 붙는다고 하니까 급박하게 바들을 발표를 했다가 그때 좀 창피한 일이 있었고, 그 다음에 나왔던 기사들이 지금 당장 검색에 바들을 적극적으로 이용하는 건 좀 아닌 거 같다.
우리는 검색을 어떻게 하면 더 효율적으로 할 수 있을지를 고민해 보겠다는 이런 기사들이 나왔었거든요.
그리고 빙챗을 사용을 해보신 분들은 아시겠지만 저도 요새 많이 사용하고 있는데, 생각보다 검색을 하는데 있어서 100% 편하진 않습니다.
이게 없었던 게 생겨서 쓰고는 있는데, 여전히 중요한 검색을 할 때는 구글을 쓰는 경우가 많고요.지금 MS 발표된 약해 보인다라고 말씀을 해주셨는데요.

뭐 유튜브에도 AI 사용하게 하겠다 이러면 발표도 있었는데 그거보다 제일 중요했던 건 뭐냐면 ai21 랩스 뭐 미드전이 오즈모 같은 생성 플랫폼을 구축하고 교육 그런 기업들과 이제 파트너십을 맺어서 생성 플랫폼을 구축하고 교육하는데 우리는 힘을 쓰겠다라고 발표를 했고요.
그 다음에 이외에도 많은 기술 파트너들 보면 파트너들이 엄청 많아요.
밑에 파트너들 발표를 하면서 이들과 함께 여러분들이 AI를 활용해서 서비스를 만들 수 있도록 지원하겠다는 게 사실은 이번에 주제였어요.그러니까, 거기에 또 하나가 생성 AI를 이용해서 개발하실 때 가장 많이 걱정되는 게 클라우드 비용이잖아요.
그것과 관련해서 클라우드 크레딧을 제공을 해서 개발을 하는데 좀 부담을 낮춰주겠다.
그 다음에 컨설팅을 지원하겠다 이런 발표들을 구글은 했습니다.
이 부분을요, 여러분들이 곰곰히 생각을 해보시면 모바일이 처음에 딱 나왔을 때를 한번 생각을 해보세요.
아이폰이 나왔을 때, 이 스마트폰 생태계는 주도를 한 건 사실은 애플입니다.
애플은 자기네들이 기기를 아예 갖고 킬러 콘텐츠들을 직접 협업을 해서 만들면서 애플 폰을 사시면 쓸만한 앱들이 굉장히 많았는데, 처음에 안드로이드는 애플에 비해서 굉장히 앱 생태계가 안 좋아서 이게 그래서 나는 아이폰 쓴다라는 분들이 많으셨거든요.
저 같은 경우도 초반에는 당연히 아이폰을 썼는데, 어느 순간 이제 한국에서 쓸만한 앱들이 구글에서 많이 나오면서 이제 갈아탔던 생각이 나는데요.그때도 구글은 잘 생각해 보면은 오픈 소스로, 그 다음에 자기네 군단을 넓게 가져가면서 굉장히 묵직하고 천천히 움직였습니다.
애플이 굉장히 빠르게 속도전을 펼쳤던 거가 비교를 해서, 구글은 우리나라를 비롯해서 주요국의 캠퍼스 구글이라고 해서 이 개발자 생태계를 꾸리고, 그들을 교육하고, 그 다음에 개발을 어떻게 하면 조금 더 쉽게 지원할 수 있을까에 초점을 맞춰서, 그 생태계를 천천히 만들어가고요.
지금 생각해 보시면, 태블릿이라던가 이런데서는 여전히 애플이 훨씬 편하긴 하지만, 그냥 일반 앱을 쓸 때는 뭐, 지금 우리나라 같은 경우에는 애플페이 이제 들어온다고 해도 불편하시는 것처럼, 안드로이드 생태계가 훨씬 편한 부분도 있거든요.
그런 식으로 구글은 천천히 큰 군대를 만들어서 가는 그런 전략을 많이 쓰는데, 이틀 전 발표도 MS보다 일단 먼저 치려고 친 거는 맞지만, 그게 약간 주제가 달랐어요.우리는 다른 방법을 쓰겠다라는 느낌이었고요.
분명히 아까 MX 발표보다 약해 보인다라고 하셨는데, 서비스면으로 봤을 때는 굉장히 차이가 났죠.
뭐, 구글은 게다가 원래 이 생산성 툴을 만들 때 ppt나 이런 것처럼 화려하게 만드는 쪽도 아니었고, 굉장히 간략하게 의미만 전달하자라는 그런 쪽이었기 때문에, 원래 그렇게 어렵지도 않았고요.
임의 자체가 맥락이 다르기 때문에, MS와 구글은 맥락이 다르기 때문에, 그쪽으로 힘을 준 게 아니라, 이쪽은 구글은 우리는 AI 생태계를 만들어 가겠다라는 발표를 했다고 보시면 될 것 같습니다.
각 회사마다 장단이 있겠네요라고 말씀하셨는데, 전략이 좀 다르다고 보면 될 거 같고요.그래서 MS는 뭐 굳이 비교를 하자면, 그때 애플이 했던 것처럼 속도전으로 그 다음에 가진 것이 많잖아요.
오피스라는 것을 가지고 있고, 또 요새 윈도우에도 빈체처럼 이런 기능들을 올린다고 하는데, 원래 갖고 있던 자신들의 자산이 많기 때문에, 직접적으로 바로바로 넣으면서 속도전을 펼칠 수 있는 거고요.
구분 그것과 다르게, 또 다시 생태계를 갖고 가겠다라는 지금 전략을 쓰는 걸 볼 수 있을 것 같습니다.
그래서 지금 두 가지 전략이 결혼을 하고 있는데, 여기서 발등에 불을 떨어진 건 사실, 구글이나 MS가 갖고 가는 지금이 킬러 생태계, 킬러 콘텐츠를 만들려고 하셨던 기업들이 사실은 지금 발등에 불이 떨어진 거예요.
예전에 모바일 시대에도 스타트업 1인 창업 열풍이 굉장히 많이 울었었잖아요.
구글의 쉬운 좀 앱 개발 방법을 이용해서, 이전까지는 소프트웨어를 못 만드시는 분들도 1인 창업으로 앱을 만들어서 올려서 성공하신 분들이 많이 있는데, 이제 앞으로도 구글의 AI 생태계에서 그런 식으로 스타트업을 뭐 만들고 하실 수는 있겠지만, 그때도 우리가 졌던 거는 결국 플랫폼을 잡지 못했던 거잖아요.근데 이번에도 그 플랫폼을 잡으려는 회사들, 그 다음에 직접적으로 오피스를 무너뜨려 보겠다고 했던 회사들은 지금 굉장히 발등에 불이 떨어졌다고 할 수 있는데, 대표적으로 지금 노션 같은 경우가 채취 피트를 붙여서 당장 문서를 작성하는데 훨씬 쉽게 만들어 주겠다라고 해서, 저희도 영상을 올렸을 때 많은 분들이 "아, 노션이 더 편해.
ChatGPT 쓰는 거보다 그냥 노션 쓰는게 훨씬 나"라고 하신 분들이 많이 계셨는데, 어제 밤에 발표를 보시면 그냥 오피스를 쓰면 되는 겁니다.
예를 들어, 오피스에서 훨씬 더 다양한 기능들을 쓸 수 있기 때문에 더 편리하게 쓸 수 있고, ChatGPT로 그냥 초한 작성 정도가 아니라, 이거는 이제 코딩을 할 수 있는 코딩이라고 해서 죄송한데, 입으로 기능들을 다룰 수 있는 그런 서비스들이 이제 나오면, 노션과 같이 한번 오피스랑 맞짱을 떠보겠다라고 했던 기업들이 지금 발등에 불이 떨어진 거고요.
저마다 접근법, 장점이 다르긴 하니 구글이 좀 밀린다는 인상이 약간 과장일 수도 있지만, 좀 구글 입장에서는 긴장 타야 할 것 같구나라고 했었는데, 그게 맞는 거 같고요.네, MS 루프가 노션과 비슷해 보이더라고요.
그런 식으로 이제 노션 같은 기업 다음에 예를 들면, 한컴 세계에서 워드에 먹히지 않고 자국의 문서 프로그램이 살아남은 대한민국이었는데 말씀해 주셨는데, 지금 그런 위기가 들어서 오늘 긴급 라이브를 편성하게 됐고요.
또 하나, 예전에 원스토어라고 통신 3사가 만들었던 그 앱 마켓 같은 경우도 초반에는 어떻게든 이겨보려고 굉장히 노력을 했었죠.
그쪽이 안 됐었죠.
또 통신 3사는 뭐, 예전에 카카오톡이 나왔을 때도 메신저로 한번 싸워 보려고 했는데, 왜 카카오톡이라는 이 완전 무료를 한 카카오랑 그 다음에 문짝 기능으로 돈을 벌고 있던 3사가 이 수익을 포기하면서까지 어떻게 이 메신저로 넘어가느냐 고민을 하다가 결국은 카카오톡에 패한 경험이 있는데요.
이게 지금 구글과의 경쟁, 그 다음에 지금 MS와의 경쟁에서 어떻게 할 수 있을까라는 고민이 드는 상황입니다.
그러면 이게 정말 우리가 망했냐라고 했을 때는 아닙니다.
네, 사실 오늘의 주제는 이 마지막에 있습니다.
지금도 나름의 틈새 시장 원탑이 되나 했더니 금방 상황이라고 하셨는데, 정말 중요한 건 정말 말씀드리고 싶은 마지막에 있습니다.
마지막에 말씀드리고 싶은 건 그거예요.
생각보다 맹점이 있다는 거죠.MS도 어떤 부분이냐면은, 기사들.
지금 조금 읽어보신 분들은 아마 여기에 공감을 하실 텐데, 월스트리트 저널이 굉장히 발빠르게 기사를 썼더라구요.
이게 아마 MS가 그 주요 전 세계 주요 언론사 몇 군데는 갖고 가서 시연을 해줬나 봐요.
아니면 뭐 불렀을 수도 있고.
직접 보여준 모양인데, 직접 테스트를 해봤더니 뭐 엑셀이라던가 이런데, 그 다음에 팀즈였던 거 같은데, 대화를 나눈 내용, 썸머빌을 해주고, 요런 내용들에서 오류가 있었다고 합니다.
그러니까, 제가 뭐 이야기를 하고 상대방이 이야기를 하는 뭐 A와 B가 이야기를 했는데, B가 이야기한 내용을 요약해 줄 때, 뭐 A의 내용이라고 요약을 하기도 하고, 생각보다 입으로 명령을 내리거나, 아니면 요약을 해 달라고 했을 때, 완벽하지 않았다고 합니다.
써보신 분들도 느끼시잖아요.
어떤 부분에서 지금 정확성이 완벽하지 않잖아요?그게 지금 오피스에도 그렇게 적용이 될 수 있다는 거고요.
현재는 그렇다는 얘기입니다.
그렇게 되면 MS가 이번에 발표를 했단 얘기는 자신들이 설정한 어느 정도의 레벨이 달성이 됐기 때문에 일단은 자신이 있기 때문에 발표를 했겠지만, 항상 소비자들은 원하는 기준이 굉장히 높기 때문에 치치 PT가 처음에 나왔을 때도 일각에서는 굉장히 편하다, 너무 좋다.
그 다음에 특히나 IT를 좋아하시는 분들은 예전에 다른 제품을 써보셨기 때문에 와 대단하다라고 말씀하셨지만 채찍 PT로 GPT를 사실상 처음 써보신 분들은 내가 원하는 수준까지 다 해주지는 못했다는 말이에요.
뭐 세종대왕 맥북 도난 사건처럼 이런 실수들이 있다 보면 일반인 사용자들은 확실히 바로 붙지 않습니다.
이렇게 되면은 어떤 기술이 적용이 되는데 시간이 좀 걸리기 마련인데요, MS 같은 경우도 지금 원피스 제품을 어제 발표를 할 때, 아이의 영상에서는 언급도 안 했고요.
블로그를 한번 들어가 보시면 수개월 이내에 발표를 하겠다라고 날짜를 못을 박진 않았습니다.
근데 길게 가진 않고, 수개월 내에는 우리가 발표를 할 거야라는 식으로 말을 해놨는데, 수개월이라고 하면서 길지 않은 시간이기 때문에 어느 정도 레벨로 이게 서비스가 될 수 있을 것인가가 아마 굉장히 중요한 그 분기점이 될 거 같고요.물론, 지금 ChatGPT를 써보셨기 때문에 좀 이용자의 마음이 조금 너그러워지긴 했어요.
예전보다 "아, 얘는 이야기를 계속 나눠 가면서 우리랑 테스트처럼 써가면서 점점 더 고도화돼 가는구나"라는 거를 아마 ChatGPT를 미리 내보낸 게 그걸 좀 알려 주려고 그랬던 거 같은데, 오피스도 초반에는 분명히 완벽하지 않게 나올 거고요.
많은 분들이 처음에 써보시겠지만, 많은 분들은 또 실망해서 나가실 수 있고, 그게 얼마나 빨리 극복이 돼서 모두가 인정할 만큼 이거를 자연스럽게 사용할 만큼 바뀔 수 있느냐, 그게 아마 관건일 것 같습니다.
특히나 MS는 오피스 제품과 윈도우는 엄청 엄청난 킬러 제품이잖아요.
물론 애절하는 클라우드를 띄울 수 있는 굉장히 큰 원동력이 GPT가 되고 있기는 한데, 이번에 ChatGPT를 코파일럿으로 오피스에 잘못 붙였다가 만약에 사람들이 굉장히 실망을 하게 되면, 이럴 경우에는 MS에 굉장히 큰 타격이 될 수도 있기 때문에, 이게 완벽하게 어제 저희가 영상을 보고 와 "너무나 쩌는 기능이야"라고 생각을 해서 MS가 이제는 모든 걸 다 갖고 가겠구나라고 생각하기에는 확실히 맹점이 있습니다.

제가 기사에서도 봤는데, 노가다를 다 없애주니까, PPT나 워드에 대한 노가다를 다 없애주니까, 한 생산성이 50% 올라가고, 100% 올라갈거다 이런 말씀을 해주시는 분도 있는데, 저는 사실 거기에는 좀 반대예요.
왜냐면 결국은 노가다를 없애주면, 기획을 하고, 그 다음에 뭐랄까, 창의적인 일을 해야 되는데, 제가 업무하는 생각을 해봐도, 창의적인 일을 가끔, 창의 아이디어를 내고, 계속 놀아야 됩니다.
아니면 노가다를 좀 하다 보면, 또 뭐가 생각이 나거든요.
그럼 다시 또 뭐, 기획을 하고, 아이디어를 내고, 새로운 것들을 하는데, 이게 노가다를 누가 해준다고 한들, 여러분 창의성이 매일매일 나오지는 않을 겁니다.
그래서 아마 그쪽에 비교를 해보시면 더 좋을 것 같은데, 바둑을 두시는 분들은 예전에 컴퓨터가 없이 바둑을 둘 때는, 내가 상대방과 바둑을 둘 때, 다음 수, 다다음 수를 생각할 때, 무조건 어디로 생각해야 되거든요.
내 머릿속으로 상상을 해 볼 수밖에 없어요.엑셀 작업을 하거나 PPT를 할 때도 내가 직접 적응해보려면 시간이 많이 걸리기 때문에 머릿속으로 막 돌려보고, 그 다음에 그걸 한번 손으로 해 본 다음에 해봤는데, 아니요.
그러면 다시 돌아가서 다시 시도하고 이게 노가다인데, 이번 노가다는 좀 다른 게, 상상해보고 바로 적용이 된다는 거죠.
바로 적용이 되면은 또 다른 걸 시도해 볼 수 있는 시간이 줄어들 수 있다.
그래서 생산성이 꽤 많이 상승이 되겠지만, 하지만 그 아이디어가 여러분 10초에 한 번씩 튀어나오지는 않을 거기 때문에, 제 생각에는 두 배씩 생산성이 올라가고, 그 다음에 노가다 심는 분들이 다 없어져서 결국은 뭐 일이 없어진다까지는 아마 안일되지 않을까.
질문을 잘하고 창의성 있는 질문을 해야 하는 세상이라고 말씀해주셨는데, 맞아요.
이 질문을 잘하려면 시간이 꽤 걸리거든요.
저도 인터뷰하거나 이럴 때 질문 만드는데만 꽤 오랜 시간이 걸립니다.
그러면 이 어떻게 질문을 해도 뽑아낼 거냐, 내 손은 좀 덜 고생하겠지만 오히려 그 머리를 굴리는데 더 시간이 들 수도 있습니다.

And then there were rumors that it was going to be about how MS and Open AI were going to collaborate, and then unexpectedly, two or three days ago, GPT 4 became public.
So, when GPT 4 was released, but the parameters and things like that were not released, and then last night's announcement, everyone was expecting that there would be a little more detailed talk about GPT 4, but they announced that you can already integrate service-generated AI, which was completely unexpected.
I think we all saw this coming.
I think everyone was expecting that one day MS will put generative AI in the office product and make Excel mouth to mouth like coding Excel, but I think everyone was expecting that this will be a few years later, or it should be the end of this year, or the 10-won version is out and it will be applied slowly now, but suddenly they announced that we are already ready with the name of co-pilot, so it was so shocking.

There was a presentation last night about how you can use generative AI in this completely different office.
Well, it was a little over 30 minutes, so they didn't go through all the features one by one, but the video they showed yesterday was pretty shocking.
First of all, Nadella talked about the opening, but once you see Nadella on the screen, it's just the same Nadella that always comes out.
I felt like I was watching Jobs about 13 years ago.
I don't know if you dressed like that on purpose, but when you explained it like that, what was the main thing that struck me the most was, when you used to use a computer, didn't you use a keyboard and mouse and then multi-touch?
Now, it's going to be a completely different era.
It's starting now, and he showed us what's coming.
So I passed the screen to other people and showed them the services one by one.

The PPT comes up and I'm just in the PPT, is this a word file, and it just converts what's in the word file to PPT.
You don't have to design your own graphics, you don't have to do it one by one.
You can just put the word content in the PPT and the PPT will make it.
And next to it, you can interactively say, "Fix this slide like this, fix it in this way," and it will do it if you just write it in words, and it will generate a story like that.
You said that 70% of the industry is going to be fired, but you really feel like that, and you spend a lot of time making PPTs while working.
We all thought we'd see a revolutionary reduction in this later.
But this is going to happen now.

The next thing that came out was, if you look at Excel, you have a graph.

So, yeah, Billionaire Insights Row is now Office, but not too long after that, he's doing YouTube videos like that, so that's what you're all imagining.
But nobody knew that MS was going to do this to Office this quickly.
And then you look at things like Outlook.
Outlook is going to be coming out now, so if you're replying to an email and you're like, "Hey, I'll send you the first quarter sales numbers," it's going to automatically suggest that excel file, and you can put it in there automatically now.
So I drafted it, I thumbnailed it, and then I emailed it to you guys and it was really long and it was like, "Hey, I'm going to summarize this and that," so I thought I could do that, so I keep hearing that it's done now, and now in the video, they're explaining it, and it's not a huge shock.
Because I was so shocked by PPT and Excel.
Those are the things that you do now.
If you watch the videos now, it's all over the place.
You also said that it might be a low level of difficulty because if you specify the parameters and define the output accurately, the response will be autocoded, but I asked some people who have worked on it, and I recently received an answer that it would be harder to apply it to the office than I thought because it is very unclear when a person says or does it.

It's actually December, so it's been less than a few months, and in Korea, it's about the middle of January, so this ChatGPT was very much publicized and people started using it a lot, but right after the groove, Bing Chat launched in February.
So, it was in February that I put this ChatGPT in Bing's empty search, but it didn't work, right?
I put it in February, and now it's already over 100 million daily users.
So, I thought it was moving fairly quickly when I put in Possessed ChatGPT, but when it was announced this time, MS talked about it.
"Actually, it's GPT 4 that was possessed." And they were like, "Oh, we're actually obsessed with GPT 4.
So this was already ready to go.
GPT 4 was announced on March 14th, and MS said, "We're using image 4."
So, at that point, I just assumed that GPT 4 was out a little bit ahead of time, and that MS was moving a little bit quickly, but then, just two days later, in the early hours of today, MS Office announced a co-pilot.
This is just a guess, but of course, they've been preparing for this step since they announced ChatGPT.
The question is, how far have they gone and are they moving now? And GPT4 political technology usually booms when people realize that a new technology is useful, and then it dies down when it's not immediately useful.
Well, you've seen Bitcoin before, and a lot of technologies go up and down like that, but AI isn't one of the newer ones.
It's been around for a long time, but what makes this different is that we're constantly showing that an ecosystem can be created, and MS is constantly shocking us every month or so by having such an aggressive timeline.
I think it's because they're showing now that this is not a story that's going to end, this is not a technology that's going to end, this is a real technology, that this is an ecosystem that can be created, this is not a dying technology like Web3 or Metaverse, this is a technology that can be completely revolutionized, like when mobile came out.
So, to see that, I think you have to look at Google as well.
Because Google just made an announcement yesterday.
